WCTA is involved in a number of special projects and activities through multi-disciplinary, multi-sector partnerships around the state.

Current and future activities include:

Evergreen: The Washington Clean Tech Story: WCTA is working with Hal Calbom Communications and More Dust Than Digital Films on a documentary film about Washington's clean tech sector. Evergreen: the Washington Clean Tech Story will be part of a year-long public relations effort to raise the profile of the industry in the state.

Evergreen premiered to a packed house at Seattle's SIFF Cinema on November 20th, 2008. Simulaneously, the Evergreen Team launched a website - evergreenfilm.org - where users can view hours of video interviews with our state's clean tech leaders and sign up for monthly email video updates.

Economic Analysis of Clean Tech Industries: The Puget Sound Regional Council is working with consultants to update clean tech industry cluster data for the central Puget Sound region.

Prosperity Partnership Industry Cluster Tour, featuring the clean tech cluster: PSRC’s Prosperity Partnership effort is planning a field tour of the clean tech cluster in the Puget Sound region. Mark your calendars for December 12, 2008 and stay tuned for more information.

Trade Shows and Trade Missions: WCTA recently took a delegation of 30 Washington companies and organizations to GLOBE 2008 in Vancouver, BC. We are now recruiting a few companies to go to Pollutec in Lyons, France in December 2008.

Washington Clean Tech Directory: WCTA and PSRC are working together to develop a comprehensive directory of clean tech companies and organizations in Washington state.
