How To Develop an Export Management and Compliance Program

Are you interested in learning about smart export compliance business strategies? Looking for effective solutions to address an export compliance problem? On December 2nd and 3rd, the Seattle U.S. Export Assistance Center and the the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security will sponsor a two-day seminar entitled How to Develop an Export Management and Compliance Program. The seminar will be held at the Seattle Fairmont Olympic Hotel. Speakers will be officials from the Bureau of Industry and Security, the Census Bureau and the State Department's Office of Defense Trade Controls.

We are seeking volunteer industry professionals to assist with: * suggesting marketable project ideas * acting as mentors to teams during project progress (Feb-Apr 2009) * judging presentations and ideas (April 1, 2009)
